Villa Beach Cottages is located on the northwest coast of the spectacular island of St. Lucia, 4 miles from Castries, the capital, 3 miles from G.F.L. Charles Airport and 4 miles from Rodney Bay, the island’s main dining, entertainment and shopping centre. Small, unique, and picturesque the 20 villa suites are nestled among the lush tropical gardens and framed by coconut trees on Choc Bay, just a few yards from the edge of the Caribbean Sea.

The villa suites at Villa Beach Cottages pay homage to St. Lucia’s textured heritage, drawing on elements of our rich colonial architecture in the gingerbread gables, and jalousie framed windows, bringing nature inside by the use of all locally made wooden furniture, and reflecting the natural wonder of this island paradise in locally commissioned art work. Great care has been taken to make each villa suite special by incorporating these architectural features of cathedral ceilings, intricate fretwork, wooden shutters, medallions and finials into this a uniquely St. Lucian design and feel of casual but luxurious island living.

Rooms

All the villa suites of one and two bedrooms are fully self-contained, with living and dining rooms and breezy, private verandas with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, lush green mountains of the northern coastline and a small offshore island. The deluxe villa suites features state-of-the-art in room amenities including LCD flat screen TVs, DVD and CD players and Hi-speed internet access. Luxurious with intricately carved four-poster beds, living/dining rooms with indigenous designer furniture, fully equipped kitchens with marble countertops and large appliances and balconies with teak furniture and steamers. The deluxe one-bedroom villa suites also feature bathrooms with his & hers pedestal sinks and in-room jacuzzis with a sea view.

The Derek Walcott Suite - is a special deluxe one-bedroom villa suite named in honour of Derek Walcott, the 1992 Noble Laureate for Literature, who spent his holidays on property over the years. It features a uniquely craved wooden four-poster king size bed, his watercolour paintings and a collection of his books and French doors opening out to the vista which inspires him. The Adelaide Rice Suite and the Edith Johnson Suite are also deluxe one bedroom villa suites named in honour of repeat guest of the Villa Beach Cottages. The Honeymoon Villa, a small, showpiece two-storey unit, has living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, and the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. It features hardwood flooring, walls with Victorian wainscot panelling, and a romantic wooden spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, with French doors opening into the balcony and Caribbean Sea.
