Named as one of the finest homes in the Caribbean, with its design featured extensively in an issue of architectural digest. The lush gardens that surround the property are a haven for wildlife, and include palms, plants and colourful flowers. This is one of the most romantic spots on the island for honeymooners.
The seclusion is guaranteed as the villa is not visible from the road, but easy access means you can come and go as you please. From its hilltop position you have stunning views out over Smuggler’s Cove, with the ocean waves and the dramatic coastline in full view from all of the rooms. The beach and reefs at Smuggler’s Cove provide a great place to explore the warm waters of the island, with great snorkel access. A short drive away brings you to an 18-hole championship golf course.
Please note that because of the nearby cliffs, children under 16 are not allowed at this villa.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, with bamboo posters and draperies. An en-suite bathroom is adjacent with a spacious bath for two, separate shower and dressing room. An outside patio provides stunning views out over the ocean.
The second bedroom has a gallery area with bedroom on the lower level, opening onto its dedicated private patio. The room has a double bed and en-suite shower room complete the room.
The villa strives to combine all the elements of a dream home in the Caribbean. There are two gazebos in which to enjoy a cool drink and admire the stunning views, or you can explore the winding paths through the gardens. You can dine on the outdoor terraces, dip your toe in the soothing waters of the pool found lower down on the property, or even enjoy a sundowner on the lower deck while enjoying the fabulous views out over Pigeon Island bathed in reds and oranges as the sun sets on another beautiful day.
Designed to be open-plan, helping to circulate the cooling breeze, the villa is furnished with antique furniture set against a cool white background leading to a unique blend of old and new. The two living areas are airy and provide a great place to relax, with one serving as a TV room with cable services. The open-plan dining room and kitchen open up onto one of the many patios.
A study with computer, as well as an additional bathroom, complete the house.
There is a housekeeper attending the villa 6 days a week Monday – Saturday from 8am – 3pm. The resident groundsman has a hut in the gardens, and a dog and cat are free to roam the gardens.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.
