Overview

This fabulous award-winning charming boutique hotel boasts a fascinating history. Built on the ruined remains of Fort King George in the 1950s, the Blue Haven attracted Hollywood stars like Rita Hayworth and Robert Mitchum. Both the Queen and Princess Margaret visited the hotel and several films, including Swiss Family Robinson, have been filmed here. Although forgotten for a time, it has since been fully restored to offer perhaps the finest accommodation on Tobago. All rooms have breathtaking ocean views and are very well equipped. Amenities include the colonial Shutters on the Bay Restaurant and No Problem Beach Bar, which is renowned for its fantastic location on Bacolet Bay where Robinson Crusoe was supposedly wash ed ashore. During the day, laze on the beach or by the pool, admiring the panoramic ocean views.

55 rooms. All with balcony/terrace with ocean view, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. Superior Ocean View Rooms with 1 king-size bed, sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child. Deluxe Ocean View Rooms - as above but more spacious with 1 king-size bed or 2 twins (double sleigh beds), sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Ocean View Junior Suites - as above but more luxurious and spacious with additional lounge/sitting area.

Resturants & Bars

Shutters on the Bay Restaurant (featuring exquisite seafood, and international gourmet cuisine infused with West Indian spices), No Problem beach bar (also serves lunch and occasional dinners), lounge bar with terrace overlooking the ocean and its beautiful sunset.
