Only 8km from the historic capital of St George’s, Coyaba Beach is located on the Grand Anse beach in a prime position on the southwest coast of Grenada. It is an idyllic place to let loose and allow your mind and spirit to be soothed by the tropical paradise that is the Caribbean.
The crystal clear waters stretch out into the distance and the resort boasts a wealth of water sports and activities such as kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing and scuba diving from the PADI centre. On land there is tennis, volleyball, gym and fitness classes, a spa, weekly cricket matches and dancing at the special music and retro nights.
Diving is a must-do thing here, and you can explore the world’s first underwater sculpture park in Moliniere Bay, as part of the national marine park. The human shaped sculptures are an astonishing sight and teeming with fish. There are also a number of shipwrecks in the area including the ‘titanic of the Caribbean’ Bianca C Wreck, as well as reef diving and the chance to see a nurse shark.
At Coyaba Beach you have the option of upgrading to a premium all inclusive package until 17 December 2014. With little extra luxury and extra touches, it covers: premium meals and drinks, unlimited bar drinks, express check-in, one snorkelling trip and one PADI dive, a market tour, selected daily spa treatments, complimentary green fees at the 9-hole Grenada Golf Club, complimentary non-motorised water sports, use of lounger and parasols on Grand Anse and poolside, weekly live entertainment and resort activities like yoga and tai chi (twice a week), and a coyaba robe and goody bag for your room.
