Ladera is a resort that one only dreams about. A small, hidden, tropical gem that is still relatively unknown. It is a hotel like no other and very special. It’s located South of the island overlooking the famous Pitons just 2 miles from the town of Soufriere and hidden within a hillside of mango trees.
Ladera’s accommodation is all eco-designed with lots of natural materials. The suites are extra special and non-conventional as they are open air, have a wall missing, yet totally private and not overlooked!! You can lie in a stunning 4 poster bed overlooking your private pool with the most beautiful views of the sea, rainforest, and Pitons. We cannot over emphasise enough how special Ladera actually is and it has to be experienced to be believed. Ladera offers an intimate holiday experience with only 6 villas and 26 suites.
Dasheene Restaurant - Chef Orlando Satchell’s kitchen is dedicated to serving up fresh native ingredients from island farmers and neighboring plantations that grow their produce primarily for the resort. Chef Orlando’s cooking renders stylish interpretations of traditional St. Lucian dishes, such as sweet potato and coconut soup, Caribbean lamb salad, roast conch with pickled vegetables served in a yam basket, Cajun Creole vegetable bakes, jerk poulet sausage, plantain gratin with coconut rum sauce and more.
Sunday Brunch - Take time out for yourself and linger over Sunday Brunch while enjoying live entertainment performed by a St. Lucian Shak-Shak band.
T’cholit Bar - Open from 9am each day, the T’cholit Bar is a perfect setting for a pre-dinner cocktail or to enjoy a live music show. Part of Dasheene Restaurant, T’cholit Bar shares the same unobstructed sea views flanked by St. Lucia’s signature twin volcanic Piton peaks.
The infinity pool was used in the filming of “Superman II” and was the first of its kind in the Caribbean.
