Ladera is a resort that one only dreams about.  A small, hidden, tropical gem that is still relatively unknown.  It is a hotel like no other and very special. It’s located South of the island overlooking the famous Pitons just 2 miles from the town of Soufriere and hidden within a hillside of mango trees.

Ladera’s accommodation is all eco-designed with lots of natural materials.  The suites are extra special and non-conventional as they are open air, have a wall missing, yet totally private and not overlooked!!  You can lie in a stunning 4 poster bed overlooking your private pool with the most beautiful views of the sea, rainforest, and Pitons.  We cannot over emphasise enough how special Ladera actually is and it has to be experienced to be believed.  Ladera offers an intimate holiday experience with only 6 villas and 26 suites and an excellent restaurant called Dasheene which is well renowned for its fantastic local cuisine.  Chef Orlando really knows how to create some of the best local food on the island.  This is one of our favourite restaurants in St Lucia which we always ensure we visit when there.   The staff are attentive and dedicated to their guests and nothing is too much to ask.  Ladera offers an intimate but truly unique experience.

The Spa

Ti kai Pose – In local patois, it means “little house of rest”.   There are four treatment rooms or the spa facilities could be to be brought to your suite or villa.  They also offer outdoor Rainforest Massages beneath a tent in the tropical spa gardens and afterwards why not hop into the Mineral Soaking tubs in the gardens where the source is drawn directly from the Diamond Mineral Baths near Soufriere.

Ladera is perfect for a short break to explore the South of the Island or to be just hidden away for a while - as one guest put it “I wonder what the people back on earth are doing?” just imagine if you have been having an action packed holiday on St Lucia visiting Ladera for a few days before returning home would be pure perfection!!!

Prices Start from £1891 per person for 7 nights in a Petit Piton Suite with Plunge Pool on a twin share basis.  Your holiday includes:  Daily breakfast, afternoon tea, resort facilities, return economy flight with Virgin/British Airways from Gatwick, meet & greet by local rep, private car transfer to and from the airport.
