The Capella Marigot Bay Hotel opened in 2006 and offers a contemporary and eco-friendly boutique atmosphere. Set in a historic and picturesque Caribbean location and providing its guests with every modern amenity and world-class service there is to offer, as well as chic and stylish architecture. Several swimming pools, the Auriga Spa and fitness centre, the highly-regarded fine dining at the Boudreau restaurant and elegant bars complete the enticing package. A stone’s throw away there is a Marina Village, offering visitors a wide range of boutique shops and restaurants. The resort has undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment and will reopen on the 15th August 2014.
Offering a wide selection of luxurious accommodation, the Capella Marigot Bay Hotel offers a choice of one, two or three-bedroom suites, numbering 57 in total (many with their own private plunge pools) as well as 65 rooms with spacious balconies and extensive views over the bay. Located across 30 acres of gardens amongst the tropical Caribbean landscape, guests can choose from luxurious Penthouse suites and stunning bay or resort view room and suites.
Every suite and room offers lavishly-appointed surroundings with a contemporary edge, coupled with modern facilities and appliances. The interior design is distinctly chic with an Asian elegance and touch. You even have the option of adding a plunge pool for an additional fee per night.
Each of the Capella Marigot Bay Hotel’s restaurants and bars has its own style and a unique enticing atmosphere, and its extensie renovation has given way to 4 new and exciting dining outlets - from casual dining to the open kitchen in the resort's new signature restaurant.
Bayside Café – Situated in the marina and right on the waterfront, the Bayside serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a fresh bakery in the morning and menus showcasing fantastic casual fare from around the island. There will also be international favourites and sports-bar type cuisine with pizza, burgers and delicious chicken wings.
Rum Cave – Signature waterfront casual dining, as well as a hand-picked selection of over 200 rums which can be sampled during an exciting and extensive ‘rum tasting’ experience. With menu items paying homage to the traditions and history of the island, with influences from England and France. Meals are served tapas style and expertly paired with one of the numerous rums in a casual environment backed by waterfalls and stunning views out over the marina.
The Grill at 14*61 – An open kitchen with an Argentinean wood grill is the centrepiece of the resorts signature restaurant. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the diners can interact with the executive chef at The Grill 14*61 while there meals are cooked and prepared before their very eyes.
The Brut Bar – A variety of fresh seafood is served up at the resort’s poolside bar. The chefs incorporate locally grown ingredients that help to compliment the region’s best seafood and sushi, as well as desserts and inspirational cocktails.

There are also a number of 'Capella Signature Activities' including a spa day out, visits to local artists and clay sculpture making, kids scavenger hunts, stargazing with a local astronomer, rum tasting and blending, snorkel lessons and beach barbeque.
The idea behind the signature spa at Capella Marigot Bay are the four phases of the lunar cycle, with the treatments reflecting the varying energies of the moon. The Autiga Spa uses all natural and organic ingredients, as well as utilising traditions and customs in its healing practices and treatments. Its design and layout takes inspiration from the natural beauty of the island and its surroundings – an outdoor spa with lush and verdant greenery all around you.
There is an adjoining salon featuring a full compliment of services including hair styling, nail services, makeup and other treatments. There will also be a new fitness centre to compliment the spa, where the rooftop decking will host a number of yoga and meditation classes.
